About the Role

As our Quality Manager, you'll play a key role in three core areas:

General Quality Management

- Maintain and audit ISO 9002 and ISO 14002 systems.

- Monitor staff attendance via our app-based system.

- Ensure customer satisfaction through regular communication.

- Oversee accurate invoicing and internal auditing processes.

Site Quality Audits & Complaint Management

- Conduct regular site audits and assess service quality.

- Collaborate with the management team to plan and confirm corrective actions.

- Resolve minor non-conformance issues directly with operational staff.

Staff Training & Wellbeing

- Review and support staff onboarding and induction training.

- Monitor ongoing training needs in areas such as:

- Health & Safety
- COSHH
- RIDDOR/Incident Reporting
- Safeguarding

Working Hours & Benefits

- 25 hours per week, can be over 4 days. Between 8:00am & 4:00pm.

- 16.00 per hour

- 28 days holiday (20 days annual + 8 statutory)

Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Manager to oversee our quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of HACCP principles. This role is pivotal in maintaining the highest quality standards in our products, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the organisation.

Responsibilities



Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess adherence to quality standards, identifying areas for improvement. Analyse data related to product quality, production processes, and customer feedback to drive decision-making and enhance overall quality performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, providing guidance on best practices and corrective actions. Lead training sessions for staff on quality assurance protocols, HACCP principles, and continuous improvement methodologies. Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, trends, and compliance status for management review. Stay updated on industry developments and regulatory changes that may impact quality assurance practices.

Requirements



Proven experience in a quality management role within a manufacturing or food production environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets related to product quality. In-depth knowledge of HACCP principles and their application in a practical setting. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficiency in using quality management software and tools for data analysis and reporting. A relevant degree or certification in Quality Management or a related field is preferred but not essential.
