We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected manufacturing client based in Mildenhall, Suffolk, who are seeking a

Quality Manager

with proven experience in a similar role. This is an exciting opportunity for a quality professional to take full ownership of the company's quality systems and processes, reporting directly to the board and leading all quality-related activities across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead on all internal and external quality issues Manage and develop the quality team Act as the primary liaison between the business and its customers for quality and compliance matters Analyse and monitor customer performance metrics and implement continuous improvement measures Oversee and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards, including audits and additional accreditations Facilitate monthly quality meetings and workshops to promote quality culture throughout the business Lead customer audits and site visits Travel to customer sites for meetings and reviews as required Support with any other duties as directed by senior management

Experience & Skills Required:

Previous experience as a Quality Manager, ideally within a manufacturing environment Background in fabrication/manufacturing Experience in managing and motivating a small team In-depth knowledge of ISO9001 processes and requirements Strong problem-solving skills and ability to find effective solutions in a live production setting Experience using quality tools and methodologies for root cause analysis and preventative action Ability to communicate technical issues professionally in a commercial context Competence in reading and interpreting technical drawings Proficient with MS Office and open to learning new systems Self-motivated with strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel when needed Project management experience (desirable)

Pay: 50,000.00-53,000.00 per year
