Job Description

Specialized in civil engineering and engineering structures, Bouygues Travaux Publics is one of the world leaders in the fields of land use planning and sustainable infrastructure construction. Bouygues Travaux Publics is committed to diversity and is open to all talents.

The Civil Works Alliance are recruiting a Quality Manager to join our Marine and Tunnelling team at Avonmouth -- playing a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of Sizewell C, one of the UK's most ambitious low-carbon infrastructure projects.

As part of the CWA, you'll be part of a highly collaborative team delivering world-class civil engineering as we help build Sizewell C -- a 3.2GW nuclear power station that will generate clean, reliable electricity for around 6 million homes for the next 60 years.

This is a critical role within our Avonmouth operations. You'll be responsible for implementing and maintaining the Quality Management System across a major section of the project, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, nuclear quality standards, and project-specific requirements. Your work will help to embed a robust culture of quality and assurance across both delivery teams and supply chain partners.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing quality assurance processes and overseeing the compliance of all quality-related deliverables

Supporting and guiding teams on documentation such as Inspection & Test Plans, Method Statements, and Quality Plans

Leading investigations, audits, and improvements to drive continuous and continual quality enhancement

Promoting awareness and understanding of quality and regulatory requirements across all functions

Digitising quality tracking systems in collaboration with IT and project information teams

Providing regular quality performance updates and reporting to senior leadership

To succeed in this role, you will need:

A degree in engineering or a related discipline, or demonstrable experience

ISO 9001 Lead Auditor training and a solid understanding of industry standards

Proven experience managing quality in large, complex infrastructure projects

Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels

Confidence in leading investigations, driving process improvements, and managing risk

A proactive mindset with an eye for detail and a drive to deliver lasting value

If you're passionate about driving quality on a project that will shape the future of sustainable energy in the UK, We'd love to hear from you.
