About the Role



There are four key parts to this role:


A key part of this role is continually building capability in yourself and your team, recognising its vital link to performance, driving learning, and fostering a culture of growth and improvement. To create and implement our Quality strategy for the next 5-10 years with a clear focus on quality assurance and process optimization . As a member of the site lead team, you will lead the strategy development and be the driver of change . To lead the quality team providing support and guidance on meeting standards and legal obligations, and developing systems and processes for the future. Operationally, you will ensure that company systems are fully compliant with quality standards and that these are met across all departments. You will carry out audits to BRC and ISO 9001, in line with the audit plan. You will assess non-conformities, carry out corrective and preventative actions and deliver training to staff.

What You Will Do



Interact with customers to resolve quality issues by driving permanent and effective corrective/preventative actions and provide feedback to the business as appropriate . Manage the integrated system for; ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 140001 and BRCCPV4 for on-going compliance and effectiveness. Ensur ing management systems comply with customer standards and requirements for quality Ensure raw materials are managed to agreed specifications Set up and maintain quality metrics and identify areas for measurement together with implementing systems to gather data as needed Monitor data to ensure target levels are achieved and reports effectiveness of Quality Systems by sharing performance data Provide training to the broader operation to ensure full understanding of quality processes Benchmark internal quality systems to stimulate development Manages customer and consumer complaints in line with Global Hygiene Supplier Standards Ensure legal compliance for stated standards Work closely with initiative and technical development teams to lead the development of new products and valid quality specifications for the site Initiate and contribute towards capex needs to deliver the business plan Monitor and evaluate internal production process - track process capability and make recommendations to improve. Drive improved variability and capability of the manufacturing processes on site. Develop graduate engineers to better understand the process and link to variability/quality improvements

Who You Are



You will be an experienced leader of both people and projects with a strong background in delivering on a change agenda. You will be an expert in your field, with a strong involvement in quality processes, and a strong understanding of how this impacts a manufacturing environment. Linking quality to process optimisation is the heart of the role





With a passion to succeed and develop your career further, you will have knowledge of ISO and BRC standards as well as auditing and will be a qualified lead auditor. You will demonstrate strong influencing skills, be willing to challenge the status-quo, and be able to communicate your ideas and plans effectively. You will be experienced in coaching and guiding others to deliver improved results and have a high regard for safety and environment.
