We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Manager to join our Nuclear & Infrastrucure Division, based on-site at Teesworks. This is a 12-month, fixed-term contract.



Our Nuclear & Infrastructure division has extensive experience in the specialist, highly regulated nuclear, transport (road and rail), process industries and power and energy sectors. Providing award winning design teams, utilising state-of-the-art design software and Tekla detailing facilities to offer customers value engineering. This gives a mix of proven success along with modern, innovative design and fabrication ideas to be able to provide a quality, specialised service to a growing market. They continue to set the

bar high

in their highly regulated market!

Vacancy Details



In the Quality Manager position you will play a key role in delivering high-quality services on site, in compliance with industry regulations, client specifications and Severfield's Quality Management System.



You will ensure statutory requirements and client expectations are met, and your work will directly impact the quality, compliance and continuous improvement of the project.



Other responsibilities will include but are not limited to:


Investigating non-conformances and lead corrective actions Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement Compile quality documentation in accordance with codes & customer specifications Liaise with customer representatives as needed Conduct external audits of subcontractor work against QA/QC requirements Write & implement project-specific inspection and test plan Perform site-based 'C' works inspections and checks Manage QA/QC inspection personnel to ensure compliance Ensure quality records are maintained and traceable Support sourcing and material compliance processes as per client & statutory requirements



Key Skills & experience



Technical or Quality qualification (HNC Level) Welding inspector qualification or experience ISO 9001 lead or internal audit qualification Experience in a quality role, welding or welding inspector experience would be beneficial Technical or engineering related background
