Role Overview



We are seeking a dedicated and detail-driven

Quality Manager

to lead our quality assurance efforts across all government-funded ECO works, solar PV installations, and air source heat pump (ASHP) projects. This role is critical to ensuring that all field operations meet regulatory standards, scheme requirements, and internal benchmarks for workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Quality Manager

will oversee a team of field inspectors, conduct audits, and drive continuous improvement across our energy efficiency programmes.

Key Responsibilities



Lead and manage field inspectors across multiple ECO, solar, and ASHP projects Ensure all installations meet PAS 2030/2035 standards and relevant scheme guidelines Conduct regular site audits and post-installation inspections Identify non-conformances and implement corrective actions Liaise with retrofit coordinators, installers, and compliance teams to resolve quality issues Maintain accurate records of inspections, reports, and remedial actions Provide training and guidance to field teams on quality standards and best practices Monitor trends and feedback to improve delivery and customer outcomes Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety, MCS, TrustMark, and scheme-specific regulations

Skills & Experience



Essential:



Proven experience in quality management within ECO schemes, renewables, or energy efficiency sectors Strong understanding of PAS 2030/2035, MCS standards, and TrustMark requirements Experience with solar PV and ASHP installations Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites as required

Desirable:



Retrofit Assessor or Coordinator certification NVQ Level 3 or above in Construction, Electrical, or Renewable Energy ISO 9001 knowledge or certification Health & Safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, SMSTS)
Annual salary for this role is 40,000 dependent on experience, paid PAYE monthly, with 30 days holiday (including bank), long-service holiday incentives and our pension scheme.

This role will be office based, full time 40 hours, Monday to Friday 8:30am-5pm, with 30 minute lunch.

Flexibility towards the business needs is required along with travel to/from sites when necessary.
