We are excited to recruit a part-time, highly motivated and enthusiastic Quality and Patient Safety Administrator to join our friendly team at Oakhaven. This role involves working with a variety of multidisciplinary teams, both clinical and non-clinical.
In this role, you will support the Director of Quality Governance with quality assurance processes and enhance the use of data to drive improvements across the Hospice. You will work closely with a variety of multidisciplinary teams to assist with audits, service user feedback, and the management of databases and information systems. The information you gather will play a key role in supporting ongoing quality initiatives and improvements within the Trust.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the Director of Quality and Operations with the quality and patient safety function within the Hospice
Assisting the teams with audits, action plan monitoring, and supporting the collection of service user feedback.
Supporting the governance processes around policy approval and compliance.
You will support teams with the day-to-day management of the Vantage reporting system,
Provide administrative support for learning responses in line with Patient Safety Incident Response Framework (PSIRF) and organisational policies
Supporting teams with quality improvement initiatives
Supporting the Director of Quality and Operations with external notifications to the Care Quality Commission
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Excellent IT Skills and confidence working with Microsoft365 / SharePoint .
Someone with an understanding of the principles of quality assurance and patient safety
Experience of working within a healthcare environment previously
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
An eye for detail, and with high standards
Excellent organisational skills and able to respond to changing deadlines
