The Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality / Engineering Document Controller to join our team. In this key role, you'll be responsible for maintaining our quality documentation systems and customer portals, ensuring full compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards. You'll act as a vital link between the quality, engineering, and production teams, ensuring clear communication and accurate documentation at every stage of the process.

Day to day, you'll support the management of all quality-related issues across the manufacturing team, including internal, supplier, and customer concerns. You'll help identify root causes, drive permanent corrective actions, and ensure that all non-conformance reports (NCRs) are closed efficiently, with timely feedback provided to the quality team. You'll also take ownership of maintaining and updating control plans, supporting both internal and external audits, and tracking all audit and supplier non-conformances through to resolution.

Your work will directly contribute to minimising quality costs, improving efficiency, and maximising customer satisfaction. You'll play an active role in supporting continuous improvement activities, maintaining an organised work environment, and ensuring that all month-end quality reporting and documentation requirements are completed on time.

Manufacturing industry experience highly preferred. Previous experience with Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action procedures. Experience performing internal audits to AS9100/ISO9001 standards. Proficient with MS Office suites (word, excel, power point, outlook); ideally able to manipulate data in excel and to create Pareto charts using pivot tables. Communication skills to be able to influence stakeholders and external suppliers.
