Job Description

- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellence in written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated ability to influence without authority


The Quality Site Specialist is a critical program management role responsible for helping to drive site-level quality excellence across Amazon's operations. This position partners with quality specialists, site leads, and operations managers to identify, analyze, and address site-specific quality issues while implementing best practices across the network.
Key job responsibilities
o Support difficult, cross-functional quality improvement projects from inception to completion, working independently while seeking guidance when needed
o Perform daily side-by-sides with DAs and QAs to understand ground-level operations and identify improvement opportunities
o Partner with quality specialists to analyze workflow-level root causes and implement solutions within the site
o Develop and maintain strong partnerships with site leads and operations managers to address site-specific quality challenges
o Own program-level communication and metrics reporting for quality initiatives
o Accelerate progress by helping drive timely decisions, identifying and clearing blockers, and escalating appropriately
o Apply process improvement methodologies to optimize cross-team processes that enhance team efficacy and delivery
o Mentor team members and help develop quality best practices


Experience in driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership Experience leading process improvements Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization Experience building processes, project management, and schedules Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other quality improvement methodologies Previous experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment Project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent)
