As a Quality Team Leader you will co-ordinate activities, with a focus on continuous improvement and promoting a team based culture.

As part of your key responsibilities you\xe2\x80\x99ll:

  • Take responsibility for the physical appearance and safety of the working environment.
  • Review and improve the operating environment through establishing and maintaining housekeeping standards.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are achieved on an ongoing basis and actively promote individual responsibility for health and safety.
  • Ensure all direct activities have a relevant standard operating procedure and actively pursue the elimination of waste through the application of continuous improvement tools and techniques
  • Develop and maintain appropriate daily, weekly and monthly reporting mechanisms to monitor, control and improve performance.
  • Provide weekly daily and monthly performance reports and develop and maintain visual management boards for the team.
  • Monitor progress against Key Performance Indicators and costs against budget.
  • Manage the allocation of work on a daily basis, controlling headcount and overtime budgets and ensuring cost, quality and delivery targets met.
  • Promote flexibility through skills training and personal development.
  • Monitor team absence and performance, taking action where necessary.
  • Create and maintain a positive team culture and spirit, encouraging involvement from all team members when sharing group, divisional and team information.
  • Work with appropriate parties to provide solutions to team issues taking account of the appropriate policies and ethical practice.
  • Manage customer interfaces and expectations to ensure excellent customer service is received
  • Analyse SCCR data and resulting investigations
About You

We\xe2\x80\x99d love you to have the following skills and experience, but please apply if you think you\xe2\x80\x99d be able to perform well in this role!
  • Good IT skills in Microsoft Office and Google Suites
  • Adaptable, with the ability to react quickly and effectively to changes and requests
  • Previous experience of managing and leading a team
  • An understanding of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Excellent Customer Services skills supported by good commercial understanding
  • Strong team player
  • Quality focused
  • Excellent communication skills including effective listening and written communication skills
  • We\xe2\x80\x99d love to see some demonstrable experience of working with continuous improvement techniques too if you have that
