THG Labs Acheson offers a unique end-to-end service specialising in the development and supply of premium beauty and cosmetic products to highly respected brands and retailers on a global scale. We have over 400 talented individuals working across our sites in Trowbridge and Frome - including a state-of-the-art laboratory and 78,000 square foot ever-growing manufacturing site!

We are now searching for a positive and pro-active Quality Technician to join and lead our fast-paced Quality team at our Frome site on a full-time basis.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday 5.45am-2pm & 1.45pm-10pm (Shift Rotation)

Salary:

30,509

Responsibilities

This role is key to maintaining efficient QC operations across all production lines.

Attend daily planning and update meetings, providing QC feedback. Conduct thorough Quality checks during and after production. Review and log errors from completed work order paperwork. Support rework processes. Complete and maintain accurate documentation, including QC sheets and pallet layouts. Investigate and escalate quality issues, applying appropriate AQL checks. Maintain and archive production retains and quality standards. Ensure adherence to GMP, hygiene, safety protocols, and SOPs. Support a positive and collaborative working environment.

Requirements

Preferred but not essential

Previous experience in a QC or manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Confident using internal systems. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Flexible and reliable, with a commitment to quality and safety.
