Purpose of the role:
The role will primarily be to complete laboratory tests to positively release all process and finished flake and pellet samples. Provide assistance with investigations to improve the process and ensure right first time.
Key responsibilities will include:
Ensure Clean Tech testing is completed according to the Quality Plan and Plastipak standards (test method and frequency).
Fulfil the internal auditor schedule
Assisting with customer and quality requirements, for example inspections and further sampling/testing.
Support trials and process improvements
To measure key quality controls on finished pellet products against a defined specification and positively release based on the results and regrade any non-conforming products
Conduct process control tests and feed the results back to the operator
What we are looking for:
Good level of English and basic numeracy skills
The ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively
Good attention to detail and a flexible attitude to tasks
Comfortable working with numbers and providing simple written reports
Knowledge of Microsoft, in particular Excel
Ability to multitask and prioritise
Experience within a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
