Quality Technician

Preci Spark have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Technician, supporting our existing Quality team at our Loughborough Facility. The right candidate will have a working understanding of Quality Management processes in Aerospace or similar industries.

13 - 15 per hour (depending on skill level and experience) Monthly productivity bonus. 37 hrs per week, Day shift (Monday - Thursday 07:45-16:30, Friday 07:45-11:45). 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays. The role

Compliance with AS9100 requirements Managing supplier approvals through desktop/on-site audits Supporting external suppliers on-boarding and approval process Managing internal laboratory documents for certification Supporting & conducting internal quality audits and closure of non-conformances Supporting quality documents creation and report finalization, while working with quality team, laboratory team & production supervisors Understanding of Aerospace specifications and ensuring compliance during audits Supporting NPI, FAIR activities Adhering to Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines Upon a successful interview, Preci Spark's application process requests that a basic criminal record may be carried out.

Essential knowledge, skills & experience:

Good auditing and communication skills Good interpersonal skills Attention to detail, while reviewing, creating documents & technical reports Familiarity with manufacturing processes 2-5 years of experience in aviation and/or similar sector Experience of working to ISO 9001/AS 9100 Experience and working knowledge of Problem-Solving techniques Good understanding of various Microsoft applications
