Job Description

Our Quality technicians are a key part of our team, ensuring the products we ship to our customers do exactly what it says on the tin! We are looking for hardworking, accuracy-driven individuals who can complete the testing of products to high standards and in the strict timescales needed to make sure our products get onto the ship which will take them half way round the world. Metalube manufactures lubricants so experience in lubricant testing is an advantage.

The hours are Monday to Friday, 0730-1600, though flexibility will be required to cover for other staff on occasion and so 0700 starts may be required.

As a Quality Technician, you will play a critical role in our team by ensuring that the products we deliver meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Your work will ensure that our customers receive products that perform exactly as promised.

Key responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory tests and tasks, including preparing samples and reagents
- Adhere to established procedures and processes to meet production timelines
- Liaise with production to ensure timely shipment of products
- Support the booking in and testing of incoming raw materials
- Support internal calibration of laboratory equipment
- Participate in monthly stability testing of products
- Provide administrative assistance as needed, including recording and interpreting laboratory test results

- have excellent time management skills and can work to strict deadlines

We are seeking candidates who must have:
- Experience of working within a laboratory environment, preferably Quality Control
- Familiarity with instrumental and traditional wet chemistry test methods
