The primary purpose is to support all departments by integrating within the departments and processes to act as a support function ensuring products meet customer requirements and supporting with any concerns which may arise both internally and externally.
Main duties / Responsibilities
To integrate within the departments to help identify potential concerns and support in manufacturing quality products.
Monitor Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), within the processes to identify potential improvements.
HSE walkthroughs
Perform in-process, final visual, and incoming goods inspections
Record, report, and manage NCRs, escalate unresolved quality concerns to the Line Manager
Support internal audits and process checks to ensure compliance with standards.
Qualifications, Skills, and Training
:
Experience working within a production environment.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Able to work with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc.)
Ability to work responsibly under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, timekeeping, and reliability.
:
Have a good understanding of management systems (ISO9001/14001)
Practical inspection and part measurement using workshop tooling (verniers, height gauges, gauges)
Internal Auditing experience
Understanding and interpreting engineering tolerancing and standards.
