Quantitative Analyst - Fixed Income Trading

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Quantitative Analyst to join a small, collaborative trading team and work closely with the senior Fixed Income Portfolio Manager. This is a hands-on role for an individual who is enthusiastic, hungry, and eager to learn about markets and the trading process.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Architecture Development: + Contribute to the design, optimization, and maintenance of the team's technology and infrastructure.
+ Streamline workflows and enhance data processing pipelines.
+ Ensure scalability and robustness of the team's systems.
Backtesting: + Support the Portfolio Manager by conducting comprehensive backtesting of strategies using historical data.
+ Validate and refine strategies based on performance analysis.
Market Data: + Cleaning, and organizing market data from various platforms and APIs.
+ Ensuring data reliability and accuracy for use in pricing models and subsequent analysis.
Strategy Systemization: + Assist in identifying potential areas for automation and systematization of trading strategies.
+ Collaborate with the Portfolio Manager to identify discretionary processes into systematic frameworks.

Requirements

Strong programming skills in Python Proficiency with SQL and working with large datasets. Hands-on experience with APIs and tools for market data extraction Good understanding of financial instruments, markets, and trading strategies beneficial but not essential Highly motivated and driven to learn about markets and the trading process Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline Prior experience in a quantitative or trading role is preferred but not mandatory.
