Estco is a Ballymena-based construction company building bespoke one-off homes and small commercial projects across County Antrim, Northern Ireland. We're known for quality workmanship, transparency, and treating every build as if it were our own.

We're looking for a

mid-level Quantity Surveyor

to join our growing team and take ownership of project costing, procurement, and commercial control.

Responsibilities

Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects based on detailed analysis of drawings, specifications, and other relevant documents. Negotiating and appointing sub-contractors to projects. Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct site visits to assess progress and identify any potential cost implications. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to provide financial advice and support during the planning and execution phases. Prepare tender documents and evaluate bids from contractors to ensure competitive pricing and value for money. Monitor project budgets and control variations. Provide regular reports on financial performance, highlighting any variances from the budget and recommending corrective actions as necessary.

Requirements

A degree in Quantity Surveying 3-5 years' experience in residential or light commercial construction Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite and / or estimating software Confident communicator and natural team player.

Pay: 50,000.00-55,000.00 per year
