About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our team on a part-time basis (2-3 days per week). At W13 Ltd, you'll play a key role in managing project costs and ensuring financial efficiency from inception to completion. Working closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders, you'll help keep projects on budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labour, and overheads. Analyse project specifications and drawings to identify risks and opportunities. Support procurement processes, including tendering, negotiating contracts, and supplier selection. Monitor budgets and expenditures, providing accurate financial reports. Collaborate with project teams on cost control strategies and value engineering. Assess variations and change orders, ensuring accurate cost impact analysis. Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and industry standards.

Requirements

RICS accredited

(essential). Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques. Proficiency in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
