We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-driven
Quantity Surveyor
to join our dynamic team, specialising in super-prime residential projects. This is a key role focused on the financial management and cost control of high-end construction schemes from concept through to completion. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capability, commercial insight, and a meticulous approach to project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates covering materials, labour, and overheads.
Manage and monitor project budgets throughout the lifecycle, ensuring alignment with financial targets.
Work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to provide informed cost advice and commercial support.
Track project progress and generate regular financial reports, flagging risks or variances as needed.
Assist in compiling tender documentation and assessing contractor and supplier bids.
Negotiate and administer contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure optimal terms.
Ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory obligations, as well as quality and H&S standards.
Required Experience & Skills
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline is essential.
Proven experience in managing costs for
super-prime or prime residential projects
in London.
Experience in cost control within an architectural or design-led environment is highly advantageous.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical and financial data.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Familiarity with cost estimation tools and project management software is a plus.
