Job Title: Quantity Surveyor



Job Location: Wiltshire - Hybrid working



Salary: 45,000-50,000 + 2,500 car allowance




Contract type: Fixed Term 3 months with the potential to extend.



Working hours: 37 hours per week




About the role




To work closely with the senior QS , project site teams , and procurement department in order to assist and provide the necessary commercial controls to live projects . This will involve tender preparations through Intend for the supply of subcontracts. the scheduling of all procurement requirements integrated with the construction programme and subcontract packages.

You will be required to engage with the design teams to ensure the correct drawings, specifications and information is available tenders to be sent out.

To work within the construction project budgets and provide regular cost value reconciliation for the CVR reporting process and cash flow forecasts.

Work with the procurement team to ensure procurement is carried out in line with the Public Contract Regulations 2015.

Managing subcontracting packages, raising payment certificates and carrying out monthly valuations

Experience of reviewing and agreeing final accounts.

Be able to work within a team environment, whilst being able to work under your own initiative.

About you



Be able to demonstrate previous working experience within the construction Industry

To be qualified or be nearing completion of a degree level in a construction or equivalent HNC or HND

Hold or be looking to become a member of the RICS or CIOB

Hold a valid driving License

Possess very good IT skills and be fully competent with Excell
