We are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor with a civils background to join our team, supporting major works in the Central Belt with travel to site based in Falkirk / Grangemouth
What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities
As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a key role in supporting our commercial team, helping to manage costs and maximise value across civil engineering projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Procuring and managing supply chain partners.
  • Measuring, recording, and valuing work in line with project requirements.
  • Preparing and reviewing cost estimates, bills of quantities, and schedules of rates.
  • Supporting monthly cost reconciliations and value reporting.
  • Working closely with project teams to ensure financial and contractual control.
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders and subcontractors.
Who we're looking for
We're seeking someone with:
  • A civils background and proven experience in commercial management on civil engineering projects.
  • A degree in Quantity Surveying (BSc/MSc) or equivalent experience.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Drive and ambition, with a focus on achieving results and delivering excellence.
  • Working towards or holding professional membership (RICS, ICES or CIOB) would be an advantage.
