Job Description

Our client, a prominent company within the civil construction sector, is currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their Southern Civils team. This permanent role is vital for supporting upcoming civils projects in the Buckinghamshire region.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage valuations, budgets, and forecasts for civils contracts
Monitor financial performance and commercial risks on projects
Manage contract administration and payments in line with NEC and bespoke contract conditions
Collaborate closely with clients, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth delivery
Support cost control and dispute resolution where necessary

Job Requirements:

Experience as a Quantity Surveyor, specifically in civils works
Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and bespoke contract management
Proven track record in managing multiple projects and contracts efficiently
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Self-motivated with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
Based near Milton Keynes, Buckingham or Winslow
