About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Quantity Surveyor
to join our team at our Head Office in Derry. The successful candidate will manage the commercial aspects of multiple civils projects, ensuring accurate cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Manage commercial functions across projects, ensuring accurate cost control, forecasting, and reporting.
Prepare and administer contracts, variations, and claims in line with company and client requirements.
Oversee subcontractor management, including tendering, negotiation, valuations, and payments.
Produce and review monthly profit and loss accounts and commercial forecasts.
Support project teams with cost-effective procurement and risk management strategies.
Contribute to project reviews and provide commercial insights to support decision-making.
Essential Criteria
Degree in
Quantity Surveying
,
Civil Engineering
, or a related discipline.
Minimum of
5 years' experience
in a Quantity Surveying role
Strong understanding of
civil engineering
and/or
renewable energy projects
Excellent commercial awareness and analytical skills
Proficiency in
Microsoft Office
, particularly
Excel
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Full driving licence and flexibility to travel throughout the UK as required
Experience in NEC, JCT & FIDIC forms of contract advantageous
