EXCEPTIONAL QUANTITY SURVEYOR REQUIRED FOR AN IMMEDIATE START

BASED IN DARTFORD - LOCAL COMMUTE NECESSARY

SALARY BETWEEN 50,000 PA AND 55,000 PA DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take ownership ofthe financial management of our secured contracts, as well as the preparation of tender submissions, for a wide range of landscaping projects. We have a prestigious client list which is growing exponentially.

The Role in brief:

To manage all costs and contracts for projects from inception to completion. Key duties, although not exhaustive include estimating costs for materials, labour, and time; preparing tenders and contracts; negotiating contracts; monitoring project finances: preparing payment accounts; and advising on legal and commercial matters.

Experience and skills required:

Current work experience of 5 years or more within a QS role, preferably within a horticultural or landscaping industry but alternatively in a Construction or Groundworks company and you will:

- Have a track record in securing works.

- Can meet deadlines and work under pressure.

- Have strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.

- Have excellent mathematical and analytical skills, with the ability to problem solve.

- Have good communication and presentation skills, and advanced technical knowledge.

- Be a team player with a flexible attitude

- Be based a commutable distance of Dartford, Kent

In return we are offering a salary between 50,000 per annum and 55,000 per annum depending on experience, fantastic workplace benefits and the opportunity for progression.

This is a full-time role, from Monday through to Friday, from 7.30am to 4.30pm each day with a paid break.
