This business is renowned for its exciting projects and personal, hands-on style.They have a great opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis, overseeing leading fit-out projects.This is a great opportunity to join a leading innovative Contractor and progress your career within a business that encourages career development.Responsibilities:
- Negotiating and appointing sub-contractors to schemes, managing sub-contractor package's through from appointment to final account
- The submission of all valuations and variations on schemes
- Building close working relationship with Contracts Manager's and Site teams to deliver quality projects
- Identifying cost issues
- Identifying risks
- Aiding with bids for new contracts and supporting buying activities
- Responsibility for order of materials and services
- Act as a point of contacts for clients
- Quantity Surveyor or other related qualification
- Experience in a similar role
- A full driving licence
- The ability to plan, organise and prioritise and work to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively
- Proficient IT skills
