Tasks



We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our team. The QS will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of projects, ensuring value for money while delivering on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and a sound understanding of construction contracts and procedures.



Key Responsibilities:



Cost Planning & Estimating Prepare and analyse cost plans and feasibility studies. Provide accurate budget estimates for construction projects. Tendering & Procurement Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities (BoQs), and contracts. Evaluate subcontractor and supplier tenders. Assist in procurement of materials and subcontractors. Contract Administration Manage contract variations, claims, and disputes. Ensure adherence to contractual terms (JCT, NEC, etc.). Maintain updated records of all financial aspects of the project. Cost Management Monitor and control project costs. Forecast final project costs and assess financial risks. Prepare monthly valuations, interim applications, and final accounts. Reporting Prepare regular cost reports for internal and client-side use. Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and stakeholders.

Requirements



3+ years' experience in a QS role within the construction industry. Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QS software
