We are a rapidly growing, Chartered Construction Company specialise in the Prime Residential Market in London and the Home Counties.
We are looking to add an ambitious Quantity Surveyor/Estimator to our in house Surveying team who is looking to grow in the company as we continue to grow.
List of Responsibilities (not exhaustive)
- Measure and prepare cost estimates and budgets for construction projects
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for potential projects
- Review and analyse project specifications and drawings
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate cost estimates
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend value engineering options
- Prepare and submit progress reports to clients and stakeholders
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify quantities
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- 5 years proven experience in the High End Residential Market as a Quantity Surveyor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of cost control principles and techniques
- Proficient in using quantity surveying software and tools
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
