About The Role
We're on the hunt for a
Quantity Surveyor
to become an integral part of our innovative and forward-thinking team. This is your opportunity to make a real impact by managing costs across civil engineering projects, ensuring they're delivered on time and within budget.
What You'll Do
Reconcile project costs and values monthly through the CVR process.
Assess and submit accurate quotations and compensation events.
Prepare and submit pricing for maintenance contract works.
Maintain accurate scheme costs in the Nav13 database and resolve queries.
Prepare and submit payment applications and final accounts on time
Manage subcontractor supply chain, including issuing orders, assessing AFPs, and processing payments.
Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Advise on contractual claims, cost overruns, and project scope changes.
Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and operational staff.
Attend internal and external meetings (virtual and in-person) to ensure accurate cost data and efficient project delivery.
What We Are Looking For
Surveying degree or equivalent experience.
NEC3/4 contract and framework experience.
Civil engineering/drainage project management, ideally highways.
Strong Excel, Word, and database skills.
Self-motivated, organized, and detail oriented.
Excellent communication, commercial awareness, and teamwork.
Full UK clean driving licence.
