Quantity Surveyor

Ridgeway & Co are working with a respected main contractor who are looking to appoint a talented Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and well-established contractor delivering a variety of projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors throughout London. As Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the financial delivery of projects, from early-stage procurement through to final account.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage project costs and ensure value for money across all stages Oversee procurement of subcontractors and materials Prepare and negotiate tenders, variations, and final accounts Conduct cost reporting and forecasting in line with project progress Work closely with site and project teams to ensure budgetary control

Requirements:

Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the UK construction industry Strong understanding of cost control and commercial management on build projects Background in residential and/or commercial sectors Excellent communication and negotiation skills Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related field preferred
