About the role



Join our Power Commercial team as a Quantity Surveyor, supporting the Laleham contract with National Grid. Based in Laleham or Avonmouth, you'll play a key role in delivering commercial excellence across one of the UK's most critical infrastructure programmes, contributing to the successful delivery of complex works and supporting strategic project outcomes.



The Laleham contract supports National Grid's strategic infrastructure upgrades in West London, enhancing electricity capacity and resilience through critical grid supply point works.

What you'll be doing



Collate and manage costs for infrastructure works, identifying commercial risks and opportunities. Lead procurement and management of the supply chain. Drive cost control and value-for-money initiatives while maintaining quality standards. Administer contracts with clients and subcontractors. Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Support the Gated Business Lifecycle process. Pursue personal and professional development, including accreditation.


Who we're looking for



Experienced QS with a background in infrastructure projects. Skilled in cost collation, financial control, and supply chain management. Organised, innovative, and deadline-driven. Committed to continuous development and supporting others. Resilient, determined, and passionate about infrastructure delivery.

Preferred Qualifications




BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience. Working towards professional accreditation (e.g., RICS, CIOB).
