Job Description

We are a small but successful property development and consultancy company looking for someone well-organised, articulate and analytical.

With a variety of services already on offer, we are hoping to bring new skills to the team as we prepare for upcoming projects. Presently we have numerous projects in hand and even more in the pipeline (in Nottinghamshire but also covering the wider East Midlands). Given this continuing and foreseeable increase in projects, we are recruiting for 2025 to meet our requirements.

You would be reporting to our Project Manager, assisting with key projects and workload as required, though some tasks may be directed by our Director.

Our ideal candidate would have 2+ years of experience but we are looking for the right candidate who is willing to learn and grow with us. So while prior experience is preferred, previous experience in a similar role/industry or previous time spent gaining an educational qualification may be appropriate.

The ideal candidate would be comfortable with:



Visiting sites when needed Liaising and negotiating with main and sub-contractors Creating, organising and managing tender documents Reading, following and analysing construction drawings Generating cost breakdowns and schedules of work Project gaant charts Cost appraisals for site feasibility Estimating works for Client projects Creating BoQs for projects

Most desirable attributes:



Experience within the property/construction industry Computer literate Flexible as is appropriate Problem-solving and analytical skills Open and honest communication at all levels

Essential:



Have personal transport and be prepared to use your vehicle for site visits when needed.
