You'll be joining our

Civils projects team

- We deliver specialist civil engineering for the private and public sectors across the UK, building strong relationships based on a collaborative approach.

What will you be doing?





You'll provide commercial support on a civil engineering project. Assisting in the preparation and management of project budgets, forecasts, and cost plans.



You'll support pre-contract activities including measurement, tendering, and procurement of subcontractors. Whilst managing subcontractor accounts, including valuations, variations, and final accounts.



The role will include monitoring project costs and value, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting. Identify and manage commercial and contractual risks.



We'll ask you to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and payment processes to maximise cash flow.



Supporting the preparation of monthly commercial reports and cost/value reconciliations.



You'll collaborate with site teams to ensure commercial best practices are followed. Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, company procedures, and legal requirements.



What you'll bring





Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline. Working towards or already holding professional membership (e.g., RICS, CICES). Valid CSCS card. Experience in civil engineering or highways projects. Strong understanding of NEC3/4 contracts. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
