We are seeking a detail-oriented Construction / Project Manager with Quantity Surveyor skills to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of scoping out, building cost plans seeking tenders and then managing the project with strict cost and programme control. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a small experianced team with a strong regular client base. This is within the hotel industry so an understanding of the industry will help. The projects will diverse and many as we offer our clients a very hands on service which also includes Facilities Management. Full training will given and with a aim to developing the right candidate for a future senior role in the business. The ideal applicant will possess strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience in cost management in the construction and fit out industry.

Scope out projects small & large
Prepare cost plans
Source quotes
Prepare detailed cost estimates for client approval
Once jobs approved manage projects from Cradle to grave
Monitor project expenditure and ensure costs are kept within approved budgets
Conduct regular cost analysis and report on financial progress to stakeholders
Some projects you will Manage, architects, interior designers the wider consultant team and contractors to optimise cost efficiency
Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to projects
Identify potential cost overruns early and implement corrective measures
Assist in value engineering exercises to optimise project costs without compromising quality
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards
Skills
Proven experience in cost control within the construction or related industries
Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail
Excellent organisational and time management abilities
Proficiency in relevant software such as Microsoft office Suite we also have our own bespoke software you will be trained on
Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately
Knowledge of current building regulations and industry standards a benefit but not essential
This role is ideal for a self motivated person who wants to develop in a small niche team that is growing. Candidates should demonstrate a proactive approach, integrity, and a commitment to delivering excellence in every aspect of their work.
