Quantity Surveyor - Rail / Civils
Location: Chadwell St Mary (office-based with site visits)
We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to deliver end-to-end commercial management across rail and civils maintenance frameworks. You'll play a key role in protecting margin, managing change, and supporting operational teams under NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial management from mobilisation through to final account Monthly valuations, applications for payment and CVRs Management of Early Warnings and Compensation Events Cost forecasting, cash flow and risk management Subcontract procurement, administration and final accounts Client and stakeholder liaison, reporting and governance
About You
Proven QS experience in rail, civils or infrastructure projects Strong working knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contracts Confident managing multiple work packages independently Strong commercial awareness, negotiation and reporting skills Network Rail framework experience and RICS accreditation desirable
Salary & Benefits
50,000-70,000 salary (dependent on experience) 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing by 1 day per year of service up to a maximum of 25 days Company pension scheme Life assurance Free on-site parking Annual company events and team socials
