Complete Building Solutions Ltd is a well established and growing residential building contractor specialising in premium extensions, refurbishments and bespoke new builds across Surrey and the South East. We focus on high quality workmanship, clear communication and strong financial control. As part of our next stage of growth, we are recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor to strengthen our commercial performance and support the continued development of the business.

The Role

You will provide full commercial oversight across multiple residential projects. This includes cost planning, tendering, valuations, contract administration, cashflow forecasting and final accounts. You will work closely with the Director and Project Managers to ensure accuracy, profitability and consistent commercial control.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare cost plans, estimates and feasibility budgets for premium residential projects Manage tender enquiries and analyse subcontractor returns Negotiate subcontract terms and prepare payment certificates Administer JCT homeowner contracts (or similar) and issue variations and contractual notices Produce monthly cost reports, cashflow forecasts and margin tracking Identify risks, cost pressures and value engineering opportunities Liaise with clients, subcontractors and project teams Attend site visits as required for valuations, progress checks and commercial reviews Prepare and negotiate final accounts

Candidate Requirements

5 years or more experience as a Quantity Surveyor Strong background in residential construction is preferred Confident with cost control, valuations, variations and contract administration Strong numeracy and attention to detail Clear communicator with good stakeholder management skills Full UK driving licence

Pay: 60,000.00-70,000.00 per year
