We deliver projects through the following divisions:

- Major Works- Design, supply and installation of award-winning facades and building envelopes.

- Special Projects-Specialists in investigation, maintenance, repairs, refurbishment and remedial works to existing buildings.

- Principle Contractor- Plan, manage, monitor and coordinate projects, operating in London and South East England. We have completed a wide range of projects, managing multiple contractors on time and within budget.

- Facade Remediation- NACWL are able to provide a full facade remediation service in line with the Building Safety Act 2022.

Role:

Reporting into the Commercial Director and supporting the team in managing the commercial aspects of projects between 20k-6m in value within all divisions and workstreams throughout the business. These include: Major Works; facade remediation; principle contracting and Special Projects.

Responsibilities:

Provide commercial input including financial and contractual performance forecasts to the Directors. Help ensure that business targets are exceeded.

Prepare valuations for interim applications for payment.

Preparing subcontract enquiry documentation, valuations and interim payments.

Evaluation of subcontract tenders.

Prepare final accounts and contra-charges.

Setting up and maintaining contract files.

Provide support to the Senior Quantity Surveyor and Director.

Preparation of monthly cost / value reports for area, together with review of results and consideration of trends with other contract team members

Production of commercial reports together with review of results and consideration of trends with other contract team members

Physical measurement of works and agreement of same with client and subcontractors

Agreement of certification and payment of subcontractor accounts - monitoring of such accounts against forecasts

Experience

3+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor

Experience preferably working in one or more of the following:

o Facade sector

o Main contractor

o Facade remediation

A degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying (preferred but not essential dependent on experience.
