We are seeking a talented Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success.
As an Intermediate Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing costs and ensuring the financial success of our high-end residential projects. Working closely with project teams, you will provide accurate cost management, procurement, and contract administration services to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for prime residential projects
Manage subcontractor procurement and negotiate contracts
Monitor project costs, track variations, and provide regular financial reports
Conduct valuations, cost forecasting, and final account settlements
Collaborate with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure project objectives are met
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, ideally in residential or prime residential projects
Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., JCT) and cost management processes
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Valid UK driving license (essential for site visits across Surrey and London)
Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Excel, CostX, or similar)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
