Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all costs related to electrical installation projects, from the initial calculations to the final figures. The Quantity Surveyor will ensure that projects are completed within budget and that the financial aspects are carefully monitored throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities



Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for projects Conduct feasibility studies to evaluate the potential costs of projects Monitor and control project costs, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate cost assessments Prepare tender documents Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and identify any potential cost overruns Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors Provide financial reports and forecasts to stakeholders throughout the project

Skills



Strong understanding of cost control principles and practices Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail Proficient in using quantity surveying software and tools Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Graduate

Pay: 32,535.18-72,636.14 per year

Work Location: In person
