Titan Drylining is a dynamic and reputable drylining and plastering contractor and has been established for over 17 years. We are currently on the lookout for an experienced QS/Estimator to join our office based team. The ideal candidate will have experience with construction drawings for new build residential houses/flats, be coherent with Excel and have a logical and conscientious attitude towards their work.

A head for figures is required as most of the work is measuring off construction plans and setting up Excel spreadsheets for tendering, through to contract management. With a turnover of approximately 5million, Titan will often have up to 20 projects in progress at one time, stretching from Yeovil to Chichester and up as far as Basingstoke. A successful candidate would become a key member of our small office team, which is vital in supporting our busy Contracts Managers out on site. Initially you would be working closely with Titan's Commercial Director but will soon be required to take on responsibility and manage your time effectively, for this reason we are looking for candidates that are self-motivated, show initiative, and would be excited to get involved with the nitty gritty of day to day business.

The role is mainly office based with occasional site visits, duties will include:

Take-offs/measuring drawings Preparing quotes (on Excel) Setting up new jobs (creating schedules for materials & rates mainly on Excel) Working with Contracts Management team to ensure contracts run smoothly and any queries dealt with efficiently. Undertaking site surveys, mainly to double check what is on the drawings. Checking purchase invoices and controlling costs to ensure contracts are completed on budget.
Essential requirements:

Experience within the construction industry Experience working with construction drawings Head for figures MS Excel, Word and Outlook Ability to learn quickly Full UK driving licence
Salary:
Salary can be negotiated based on experience, plus auto-enrolment pension scheme.

Working hours: 8:30am - 5pm

Holiday: 20 days, plus additional days for shut down between Christmas and New Year.

Pay: 35,000.00-50,000.00 per year
