R&D Technician - Chorley, UK

We are looking for an enthusiastic R&D Technician to join our Technical team in Chorley. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in developing and testing innovative products within the road markings and surface treatments sector.

What you'll be doing:

- Supporting the design and development of new formulations and products

- Carrying out laboratory testing to industry standards (BS, EN, ISO)

- Assisting with production trials and ensuring product consistency

- Benchmarking competitor products and contributing to cost-saving initiatives

- Providing technical support to colleagues, customers, and cross-functional teams

What we're looking for:

- Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, or related discipline (or relevant experience)

- Practical laboratory experience in testing and formulation

- Knowledge of BS/EN/ISO standards (advantageous)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Team player with good communication skills and a proactive mindset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 28,500.00 per year
