Job Description

What you'll bring to the team:
We are looking for a qualified and proactive Accountant to join our Global Record to Report team at Basingstoke within Corporate Finance. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, international environment where you'll play a key part in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial reporting.
As a trusted point of contact for stakeholders across the business, you'll support decision-making through accurate reporting, robust financial controls, and a commitment to operational excellence. You'll also have the chance to lead on process reviews, identify improvements, and help shape the future of our finance function. Key responsibilities:
Deliver accurate and timely month-end reporting across multiple international legal entities.
Supervise accounting activities and support team members in the Senior Accountant's absence.
Manage balance sheet reconciliations and oversee the process to ensure data integrity.
Partner with stakeholders to resolve accounting queries and ensure audit compliance.
Contribute to continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
Support the Head of Capital Accounting with ad hoc projects and initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:

  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of shared service centre (SSC) and Record to Report (R2R) processes.
  • Experience leading or contributing to process improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder requirements.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership and the ability to influence and inspire others.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with confidence engaging at all levels.
  • Ability to develop and support others to achieve high performance.
  • Critical thinking with a focus on risk, controls, and practical solutions.
  • Determination to deliver results and meet agreed timelines.
