Radan / Sheet Metal Programmer

to join their team. The Company are the manufacturers of high-quality washing equipment and conveyors for the food, beverage, pharmaceutical and other hygiene conscious industries.

Role Overview:

Based in Burntwood, Staffordshire, this role reports directly to the Senior Programmer. Working in an office-based environment, taking drawings from drawing Office CAD system and converting to punch programs. Other duties are outlined below:

Main Duties will include:

Programming of Trumpf punching machine for sheet metal production.

Take drawings from drawing office CAD system and convert them to punch programs.

To read and interpret engineering drawings.

Carry out necessary checks and quality assurance of products as per specifications.

Liaise between the drawing office and punch operator.

Understand the principles of sheet metal fabrications.

Any other duties within the role and your skill set.

Skills & Experience Required:

Must possess experience of Radan programming, nesting and tooling.

Previous knowledge and experience of Trumpf Turret punch layouts is a distinct

advantage.

Able to read and interpret Engineering drawings

Experience in Sheet Metal Fabrication would be advantageous.

Possess AutoCAD and Radan (or similar) experience would be preferred.

Be enthusiastic, analytical and methodical in your approach to work.

Have an attention to detail and quality.

Possess a 'can do' attitude.

Self-motivated with the ability to work equally well using their own initiative or as part of a team.

UK Driving licence.

The above requirements would be an advantage, but training will be given to the successful candidate looking to progress their career.
