Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with organisational goals to drive growth and profitability. Lead, motivate, and supervise senior management teams to ensure effective execution of company initiatives. Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Manage organisational budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation to optimise performance. Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, investors, and regulatory bodies. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making. Promote organisational culture centred on innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure adherence to legal requirements and uphold high standards of corporate governance.

Experience

Extensive management experience at a senior level within a comparable organisation or industry. Demonstrable leadership skills with a history of supervising diverse teams effectively. Proven experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Strong strategic thinking abilities combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Prior experience in navigating complex organisational challenges and implementing change initiatives is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of the ofcom code of conduct and broadcast license system. A good technical understanding of myriad/Zetta and how to broadcast on DAB. A knowledge of web/app design and general management would be preferable.
