Job Summary


We are seeking a qualified Radiographer to join our healthcare team. You will deliver a professional Lithotripsy Clinic in various hospital (Private and NHS) settings in the UK. Using a combination of X-ray and Ultrasound you will target kidney stones and deliver shock wave treatment.

This is a rewarding role utilising your professional qualifications to provide effective patient treatment. The clinics are usually nurse led and you would be supported by one of our Medical Equipment Technicians who will set up the equipment and assist you with the completion of patient treatment documentation. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in medical imaging technology.

Duties



You will provide shockwave treatment to a pre assessed patient list at the host site to effectively treat patient kidney stones. You will liaise on the day with the hospital staff running the list and discuss the patients and workflow, assessing patient imaging with the lead clinician. You will be responsible for radiation control and health and safety of your own working environment. You will maintain detailed records in accordance with Company procedures (and any specified by the host site ). Ensure all imaging equipment is properly calibrated, cleaned, and maintained according to health and safety standards. Adhere to strict health protocols, including infection control measures and patient confidentiality regulations (Core Medical Solutions does not retain detailed patient data). Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimise patient care and streamline workflow. Stay updated with advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques through ongoing professional development.

Requirements



Diagnostic Radiography BSc (Hons) , with valid registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Enhanced DBS - it is a mandatory requirement that our team must maintain a "clear/satisfactory" Enhanced DBS. Proven experience in general radiology procedures. Strong understanding of medical imaging principles and patient care practices. Proficiency in IT systems related to medical records and image management software. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals. Ability to work accurately under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Compassionate approach towards patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort during procedures. Full UK driving licence The post holder would usually be scheduled to work 3 lists a week. Depending on location there is likely to be a requirement for some overnight stays. During the probationary period the post holder would be required to complete mandatory NHS online courses.

Pay: 39,000.00-45,000.00 per year
