We currently have an opportunity available to join our enthusiastic, motivated and friendly team, working in one of the largest cardiac catheter lab suites in the UK.
If you wish to pursue a career in Cardiac Radiography we can offer you the opportunities needed to develop your existing skill set, and to train to the highest level of expertise. Whilst previous cardiac / angiographic experience is preferable, full training will be provided.
The department currently has six catheter labs, and we have just completed a multi-million pound contract to update all six of our labs to the most current technology and state of the art software on the market. We also opened our specialist bi-plane paediatric Hybrid lab in April 2019 which provides treatment for children with the most complex congenital heart problems across the Yorkshire and Humber areas.
The unit is a regional centre for paediatric and adult congenital heart disease and a tertiary referral centre for adult coronary intervention.
There will be a commitment to partake in the on call service, as well as extended working hours in both areas following supervised training, and the post holder must have the ability to transport themselves to the department within 30 minutes of being called out (i.e. personal transportation) or stay on site for on call.
