Health Care Assistant (HCA)

Location:

Llandough

Shift Time:

08:00-20:00, Monday-Sunday

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing the scanner table for each patient, ensuring cleanliness and comfort. Following established protocols and guidelines for table preparation. Assisting radiographers in carrying out their duties as required. Promptly and efficiently following instructions from the radiographers. Accurately and thoroughly filling in patient forms, recording all details correctly. Handing over completed forms to the radiographer for verification. Assisting patients off the examination bed and providing additional support if needed. Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness in examination rooms throughout the day. Performing end-of-shift clean-up, including disposal of rubbish bags. Preparing examination rooms for the next day, ensuring drawers are stocked and clean bags are in the bins. Demonstrating a high level of organization and attention to detail in all aspects of the job. Ensuring supplies and equipment are ready and available for efficient workflow.
