Come and join our expanding Interventional Radiology Team in the newly created Radiology Day Case Unit!If you are passionate about providing high quality patient care and would like to be part of the lifesaving treatment we provide, then this may be the role for you.You will work in a multi-disciplinary team alongside radiologists, radiographers and nurses, to provide high quality care in a busy and demanding environment.You will be joining an award winning team who are friendly and supportive. You will be provided with full training in an environment were personal development is encouraged.Unfortunately, this role does not meet the criteria required to qualify for sponsorshipMain duties of the jobThe role of the interventional radiology clinical support worker is to provide high quality care to all of our patients and their relatives while they are within the radiology department by using a range of skills.These include:o Facilitate patient transport to and from the department.o Provide therapeutic patient care during interventional procedureso Work closely with the consultant radiologists during certain interventional lists.o Stocking up of clinical areas, including stock rotationo Act as a circulating assistant within the radiology day case unit and angiography suite.Unfortunately, this role does not meet the criteria required to qualify for sponsorshipAbout usThe Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust (NCA) provides hospital and integrated health and social care services to over one million people living across Greater Manchester.   • Experience of working as a Care Support Worker or equivalent in a Health or Social care setting
  • Experience of working in a team
