An exciting opportunity of Radiotherapy Physicist has become available to join a team supporting a major cancer centre, located at Guy'shospital in central London and at Queen's Mary's hospital in Sidcup.
The main role of this post is to provide support to the work of the Radiotherapy Physics section. The post holder will work over a range of areas in Radiotherapy Physics and will undergo training in Radiotherapy Physics and associated techniques.

As well as the main Guy's Cancer Centre site in London Bridge, the post holder will be expected to provide routine support as required at Guy's Cancer at Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup.

The Guy's Cancer Centre is currently equipped withnine Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators, three GECT scanners for simulation, a superficial x-raytreatment unit and Elekta HDR brachytherapyservice. The centre serves a population of 1.9 millionand typically treats over 4500 patients per year. Thereis a thriving research and education programme andclose links with our university partner, King's CollegeLondon.
