We're seeking a Ramp Colleague to play an integral role in our aviation contract, delivering a first-class service and achieving fantastic results.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL
?
Loading and unloading baggage onto the aircraft
Operating ground handling equipment such as baggage carts, belt loaders, and tow tractors, to transport luggage to and from the aircraft
Marshalling aircrafts to and from gates, ensuring safe and precise positioning
Assist with aircraft pushback and towing as needed
Perform routine inspections of aircraft and ground equipment, reporting any issues or discrepancies to supervisors
Maintain clear and effective communication with flight deck and ground crew to coordinate aircraft movements
The role includes regular heavy lifting
The role includes working outside in all weather conditions
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
A valid UK manual driving license is essential with experience of driving
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
Confident dealing with challenging situations
Works well within a team
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Willing to attend a medical appointment
SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL
Be able to provide five years address history
Be able to provide five years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
To obtain a full airside ID
