Job Description

Arnett International is recruiting an experienced and dedicated Ground Trainer to join a respected client operating within the aviation sector. Based at Gatwick Airport, this role is critical in designing, delivering, and maintaining comprehensive training programmes for ground operations and security staff.

Role Overview:



Reporting into both the Ground Training Manager and the Station Manager, the Ground Trainer will be responsible for delivering compliant and engaging training content in line with company procedures and external regulatory requirements. Occasional travel to other UK locations may be required, sometimes at short notice.

Key Responsibilities:



Design and deliver ground operations and security training in alignment with internal standards and legal regulations. Collaborate with security and quality teams to ensure full compliance and audit readiness. Maintain and regularly review training materials and records. Deliver training at multiple UK locations as required, including overnight stays. Monitor industry and regulatory changes and incorporate updates into training materials. Prepare and present monthly training reports and employee development plans. Support induction, refresher, on-the-job, safety, customer service, and supervisory training. Identify and address training gaps through audits and direct feedback. Operate relevant IT and communication systems effectively. Assist operational teams in maintaining high standards of safety and compliance.

Essential Skills and Experience:



Previous training delivery experience, ideally in an aviation or regulated environment. Level 3 Award in Education and Training (PTLLS) or equivalent qualification. Strong communication and presentation skills, comfortable training both frontline staff and managers. Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple responsibilities with minimal supervision. Strong problem-solving capabilities and ability to remain calm under pressure. Proficiency in standard business software, including Microsoft Office. Full UK or Guernsey driving licence. Ability to meet a five-year background check and obtain a Counter Terrorism Check (CTC). Willingness to undertake further training, including security certifications and equipment instructor courses.

32,763 per annum
